Intelligent Communication, Computing and Networking Laboratory (ICCN), led by Professor Fang (Fiona) Fang, is with Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering and Department of Computer Science, Western University. ICCN’s research focuses on developing cutting-edge algorithms and designing innovative machine learning models to solve crucial challenges in the fields of intelligent communications, advanced distributed computing, and trustworthy networks. Current research projects include exploring the integration of artificial intelligence with next-generation wireless networks (6G and beyond), optimizing resource allocation in distributed computing environments, and ensuring privacy and security in dynamic, heterogeneous networks.
